Phase 1: Relief Care

Hello everyone, it is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the permanent closure of Windham Chiropractic at the end of February. I have been offered and have accepted an amazing position to be clinic director for an amazing Chiropractic office down south. Unfortunately, as you may know, raising a family and living in New England is extremely difficult on a single income, and I believe the best opportunity I have to support my family is outside of the northeast. I have lived in the northeast my whole life and worked in southern New Hampshire my entire career. It has been an honor to help my patients live a better life, and I will miss every one of you dearly. If you wish to come see me one last time, get an adjustment, and say goodbye please do so by February 28th. We will continue to monitor our email [email protected] so if anyone wants to get in touch with us after the move that is the easiest way. It has truly been a pleasure.

Love you all
Dr. Barry St. Onge Jr

Many people go to a chiropractor because they are in pain. In this first acute phase of care, the main goal is to reduce your symptoms. Sometimes this will require two to three visits per week for a time.

Most people are under the assumption that if they don't feel any pain that there is nothing wrong with them - that they are healthy. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health. In fact, pain and other symptoms frequently only appear after a disease or other condition has become advanced.

For example, consider a cavity in your tooth. Does it hurt when it first develops or only after it has become serious? When you begin chiropractic care, pain is also the first symptom to disappear, even though much of the underlying condition remains.
