Nutritional Consultations

Hello everyone, it is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the permanent closure of Windham Chiropractic at the end of February. I have been offered and have accepted an amazing position to be clinic director for an amazing Chiropractic office down south. Unfortunately, as you may know, raising a family and living in New England is extremely difficult on a single income, and I believe the best opportunity I have to support my family is outside of the northeast. I have lived in the northeast my whole life and worked in southern New Hampshire my entire career. It has been an honor to help my patients live a better life, and I will miss every one of you dearly. If you wish to come see me one last time, get an adjustment, and say goodbye please do so by February 28th. We will continue to monitor our email [email protected] so if anyone wants to get in touch with us after the move that is the easiest way. It has truly been a pleasure.

Love you all
Dr. Barry St. Onge Jr

nutritional consultations

Dr. Barry offers FREE nutritional consultations in coordination with his chiropractic care.

Nutrition and chiropractic care go hand in hand in supporting the body’s natural ability to heal and function optimally. While chiropractic adjustments focus on aligning the spine and improving the nervous system, proper nutrition ensures that the body has the essential building blocks it needs to repair tissues, reduce inflammation, and maintain healthy bones and joints. A balanced diet rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and omega-3 fatty acids can significantly enhance the benefits of chiropractic treatments by supporting the healing process at a cellular level.

For example, patients dealing with chronic pain or inflammation may benefit from an anti-inflammatory diet that includes foods like leafy greens, berries, fatty fish, and nuts while avoiding processed foods, sugar, and refined carbohydrates. These dietary choices can reduce systemic inflammation, which complements chiropractic adjustments aimed at reducing stress and strain in the musculoskeletal system. Staying hydrated and maintaining a healthy weight are also important, as excess body weight can place additional stress on the spine and joints.

At Windham Chiropractic, nutritional counseling is part of a holistic treatment plan. Dr. Barry may recommend specific supplements such as vitamin D for bone health, magnesium for muscle function, or probiotics to support gut health—all tailored to the individual’s condition and recovery goals. When combined with regular chiropractic care, proper nutrition empowers patients to take a proactive role in their overall health and achieve longer-lasting results.
